Watch: Remy Ma Destroys Presher’s “Wait A Minute” Remix

Remy Ma was released from prison in 2014, and as expected, she got right to work. Her post-incarceration breakout year, however, has been 2016. The Bronx native notched the second-biggest of her career, “All The Way Up” with Fat Joe, was joined by Jay Z on the song’s remix, is set to release a joint album with Joe in January, and will be up for a Grammy in February. Not to mention her recurring role on Love & Hip Hop: New York, and her gorgeous wedding ceremony (Remy was married to Papoose in jail in 2008).

The music video for Brooklyn rapper Phresher’s “Wait A Minute” remix, which features Remy, is a hallmark of her torrid 2016. She’s proven several times that her pen skills are still mighty, but on this remix, Remy attacks with unbridled aggression, and unleashes some of her best work of the year. She does it all standing next to one of 2016’s breakout stars, Young M.A., who happens to be a visceral New York rapper in her own right. Something tells us that isn’t a coincidence.
