PREMIERE: Verbal Kent x Superior “The Little Things”

A vet of the Chicago hip hop scene, Verbal Kent is a name we always check for. From his solo work to his music with Red Pill and Apollo Brown as The Ugly Heroes, this Mello Music Group mainstay always maintains a high level of quality. If you haven’t peeped his collab album with !llmind from last year, do your ears a solid and give that a listen.

What we’ve got for you today is “The Little Things,” the first single off Kent’s upcoming project with Spanish-German producer Superior. While it may not be your conventional love song, this track is a down-to-earth ode to the lady Kent shares his life with. The lines are so relatable to anyone who is now, or has been, living with a significant other, that you’re bound crack a smile…or even laugh out loud. This Chitown MC rides the rich sounds provided by Superior and amplifies the warm vibe with his heartfelt words. Perfect jam for chilly fall day.

Half My Life drops December 1 on Below System Records. You can pre-order the album here.
