PREMIERE: NOTE “Let’s Go Back”

NOTE stands for “N**** On The Edge,” but the emcee’s quick to note that there are “no periods, because acronyms are whacker than a bitch!”

Originally from the west side of Cleveland, Ohio, NOTE currently resides in San Diego. While some may label him as an up-and-coming emcee, he’s already collaborated with the likes of Rustie, Yelawolf, When Saints Go Machine, and more. If you’re not familiar with his sound, expect laid-back and melodic vocals over space-age futuristic production.

Today we’re premiering NOTE’s new track “Let’s Go Back,” from his forthcoming album, Love & Indifference. NOTE gets melodic on the hook, reminiscing about the days of the “real OGs.” The Mat_matix-produced track is definitely on that West Coast G-funk wave.

Stream “Let’s Go Back” and get the details on Love & Indifference below.

Love & Indifference is out March 10 via Proximal Records and features production from Proximal Records label-mate and co-founder Sahy Uhns, Benedek, Mat_matix, and more. However, NOTE holds it down project without any guest features, and he demonstrates that he’s a cerebral emcee who’s able to speak on the street life.
