Paul Wall to Bless the Houston Astros with Free Grillz
Better than a World Series ring?
Houston legend Paul Wall wants to the make the Astros the iciest team in the Major League Basebal. In honor of reaching the World Series, he offered to gift the entire team with grillz to celebrate their success thus far.
Paul Wall proposed the gift on Twitter and received plenty of positive feedback the players themselves. Wall stated that it’s a “celebratory thing.” The idea initially began as a joke, but after talking with Houston’s Justin Verlander and some of his other teammates, the idea became more of a reality. The grillz will come courtesy of Paul Wall and Johnny Dang, via the jewelry business they co-own, Johnny Dang & Co.

Grillz are especially sacred in the city of Houston. The style offered to the Astros is estimated to cost around $500 a piece, which can definitely add up when gifting them to an entire roster.
It’s we’ll get to see any of the players sporting their new mouth jewelry during game time, but it would be even better to hear Nelly and Paul Wall’s 2005 banger “Grillz” as Jose Altuve’s walk up song.
