Donald Trump, North Korea president Kim Jong-un

As War With North Korea Looms, Trump’s Getting Daily Folders Full Of Positive Press

In case you missed it, U.S. tensions with North Korea are escalating by what seems to be the hour and now things have gone from bad to worse to possibly nuclear.

This past weekend the United Nations Security Council unanimously voted on some of the harshest sanctions to date for America’s long time adversary. This was in response to the country’s recent testings of intercontinental ballistic missiles over the past few months.

The passage of the sanctions really pissed off North Korean president Kim Jong-un, not known to be a rational human being, who has since promised bloodshed for America.

In addition to promised bloodshed, the Washington Post is reporting that according to their U.S. military intelligence sources, the government has confirmed that North Korea now has at least 60 nuclear warheads capable of being attached to missiles.

Even greater!

In response to the news of North Korea’s newly uncovered nuclear capability, Trump threatened North Korea with “fire and fury” which, most likely only coincidentally, also happens to be the title of Chrstian rock song by the group Skillet.

From his golf course resort in Bedminster, New Jersey,  Trump told a room full of reporters today, “North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen… he has been very threatening beyond a normal state. They will be met with fire, fury and frankly power the likes of which this world has never seen before.”

Soon after his remarks the stock market plummeted.

In another bit of slightly related news today, it appears that while all of this is going on, Trump’s only reading positive news about himself. According to sources for Vice News, officials from the Trump regime and the GOP assemble folders of positive news for Trump. The folders are usually delivered twice a day. Once, at 9:30 in the morning and again, at 4:30 in the afternoon.

The folders are literally called by Trump’s staff, the “Propaganda Document.”

Vice News described the folder like this:

[T]he folders are filled with screenshots of positive cable news chyrons (those lower-third headlines and crawls), admiring tweets, transcripts of fawning TV interviews, praise-filled news stories, and sometimes just pictures of Trump on TV looking powerful.

And because there really is a Donald Trump tweet for everything, here’s one he sent from 2013.
