Nasty Nigel “Groundhog Day”

Since Remy Banks has claimed his stake as a solo artist outside of World’s Fair — specifically Children of the Night, Nasty Nigel is up next from the Queens collective. He announced a new EP through Looking Stupid, El Utimo Playboy: La Vida Y Los Tiempos De Nigel Rubirosa. Or for the non Spanish speakers, El Ultimo Playboy: The Life and Times Of Nigel Rubirosa.

The first single, “Groundhog Day,” features haunting production from Pat Lukens with an ominous piano melody looped over a bare trap beat. It’s perfect for a nightmare that you wish you could wake up from. Nasty gives you a run through of his day… which is like every other day. He gets by with DJ gigs, parlaying with friends, and hitting up the strip clubs on the regular so much that the days seem to repeat themselves like the 1993 Bill Murray film of the same name. Stream “Groundhog Day” below. You can also preview another song from the EP by calling this number: 1-844-STIQ- MAN
