Meyhem Lauren and Roc Marciano Swag Out In “Street Religion”

Strong Island’s Roc Marciano and Queens’ own Meyhem Lauren link up to trade off some bars on a hard and gritty track, “Street Religion.” Produced by DJ Muggs, the video features some archival footage of New York with Mey, Roc and Muggs mobbing the streets of New York. Meyhem Lauren rocks a beautiful red Polo Ski shirt while dropping some heavy bars:

“Street religion is what I practice / Cuban link chain, my hat backwards / Celebrate weight living the fastest / Covered in graphics / My shirts look like art pieces / My life story is like a sharp thesis.”

After Meyhem pulls out some lavish Ralph Lauren silk scarves, Roc jumps in with a heavy Red Moncler bubble jacket and spits by Central Park’s Bethesda Fountain.

“Stare death in the eyes never once flinched / Cocked the hammer on the gun / Left a thumb print / Come with me, young blood under covenant / Put the hit on him / If he live, pull a mulligan / Chrome .357 with the rubber grip.”

“Street Religion” is off of Meyhem Lauren’s upcoming project with DJ Muggs, Gems From The Equinox. The project is set to drop at the end of this month by Soul Assassins on October 27. The project will feature some of Mey’s close friends such as Action Bronson, Conway, B-Real and a rare feature from Sean Price.  Preorder the project here.
