Meek Mill’s Olympic Audition Went Well

It’s probably a pretty fun time to be Meek Mill right now. His Wins and Losses LP remains one of the year’s best commercial efforts, the Eagles are 5-1, the Sixers are fun again, and his Tokyo 2020 Summer Games routine appears to be in tip-top shape.

Confused about that last part? Allow us.

Last night’s Sixers vs. Celtics showdown in Philly was the long-awaited home-opener for the Philadelphia 76ers, and the stars were out. Courtside, guys like M. Night Shyamalan and Samuel L. Jackson were in plain sight, while Meek Mill was posted in an arena tunnel with Sixers in-game entertainers practicing their halftime trampoline jumps. After the men in red shorts had their turns, Meek Mill, looking significantly restricted by a close-fitting outfit, half-jogged his way to the apparatus and outshined them all, sticking a front-flip landing.

I ain’t scared 😂😂😂 and I’m fried off the 19 lol

Meek nailed the move so unassumingly, he barely even acknowledged the applause that erupted afterwards. The way he ran up to the trampoline, chances are no one thought he’d get off the ground safely, let alone into the air for a near-perfect score.

With the “We Ball” rapper, though, expecting the unexpected is a rule of thumb. (Plus, he was “fried off the 1-9.” That’ll get you going for sure.)
