Listen to Keyon Harold’s Soulful New Single, “Wayfaring Traveler”

Keyon Harold, the Grammy Award-winning trumpeter who’s played on records for the likes of JAY-Z and Maxwell, has brought a few of his super friends for his new song “Wayfaring Traveler.”

The song features Jermaine Holmes (known by many as a member of D’Angelo’s band The Vanguard) and the singer-songwriter Georgia Anne Muldrow, trading verses about their journeys in and out of romance. Jazz fusion pianist Robert Glasper takes over and brings the song to its close.

“Wayfaring Traveler” is a cut from his forthcoming album The Mugician, which will arrive on Legacy Records with Mass Appeal Records on September 29. The album will feature even more A-List acts from multiple genres, including Gary Clark, Jr, Bilal, and Big K.R.I.T., delivering the fusionist genre blending sound that is becoming Keyon Harold’s signature. Also on the album is “MB’s Lament,” Keyon’s tribute to Michael Brown. Check “Wayfaring Traveler” below and head here to pre-order The Mugician.
