King Kendrick is Shooting a Documentary… We Think

Kendrick Lamar made a surprise appearance at the Seattle Seahawks practice session yesterday. In town for a concert at the Tacoma Dome as part of his DAMN. tour, Kendrick stopped by with fellow Cali native and longtime friend Bobby Wagner to “break the team down.” Seahawks strong safety Kam Chancellor also mentioned something about a Kendrick documentary as the reason for his visit.

“I think it’s pretty cool, just to have a guy like that out here,” Chancellor told the Tacoma News Tribune. “You know, some of these guys like him as a rapper. I like him as a rapper. I like what he is about, so I think it’s cool to bring him out here… And he was shooting some of his documentary out here, as well. And just to have the Seahawks involved and some of the players involved — I know he was really close with Bobby Wagner. So Bobby probably had something to do with it as well.”

So we know K. Dot is currently shooting some sort of documentary and the Seahawks practice footage is expected to make the cut. After he’s done with the tour, maybe we’ll be gifted a Damn. tour documentary?

In the meantime, enjoy Kendrick Island at work:
