Hiro Kurata ‘Oh Yes We Did’
Watch a short film documenting the artist's latest solo show.
Artist Hiro Kurata’s work is a unique fusion between Western and Eastern styles, with pieces that draw inspiration from the effects of urbanization in Asia and Western civilization. His works often include familiar items in expressive and frenzied backdrops, like the baseball theme that appears throughout most of the pieces.
Our good friend Ryosuke Tanzawa was on hand to capture the creation and essence of Kurata’s work for his latest solo show, Oh Yes We Did, which opened at The Gallery in Morris/Lakeside, Connecticut on April 11, and runs through May 23. Watch the short documentary in the player above.
