Cheap Thrills Record Club USA #1 Haiku Review: Ramming Speed – Doomed To Destroy Destined To Die

Paper Letter Mail Open Hand Written

Our favorite Montpelier, Vermont-based record club answers to absolutely no one, and they’re back for this week’s haiku review! This time the Cheap Thrills Record Club USA #1 gang writes about Ramming Speed’s Doomed To Destroy Destined To Die album.

Handwritten Letter July Post Note

Dear Ramming Speed,

We know who you are. Do you know who the f*ck we are? We are The Cheap Thrills Record Club USA #1. Montpelier, VT is where we hail from, NO ONE is who we answer to. Every 6 days, we buy an album on vinyl and listen to it together in the record store with all the lights out and sh*t. We write haiku in reaction to the album we listen to. Each of us. Each of us writes a f*cking haiku because we are SO MOVED by the music. At the end of the record, we put the haiku poems in a hat and draw them out one by f*cking one. First haiku drawn wins the record. Second wins the download. Third wins the amazing power to pick next weeeeeek’s reeecorrrrd. Enclosed are the haiku from “Doomed To Destroy Designed To Die.”

Totally,
Cheap Thrills Record Club USA # 1!
