President’s Religious Advisor Says God Gave Trump Permission To Bomb N. Korea

Everything is so crazy right now. Drake is dissing Chris Brown for hitting on Rihanna. Rihanna is dissing Diplo for making trash music. And Donald Trump is dissing North Korea because he’s a Goddamn idiot. The latter of which could have some detrimental consequences. One of which, for example, could be complete world annihilation.

But it’s all okay because speaking of God, according to Pastor Robert Jeffress, one of Trump’s top advisors, an evangelical megachurch pastor from Texas, He (or She—what the hell do we know?) has given Trump permission to start a war with North Korea.

“When it comes to how we should deal with evil doers, the Bible, in the book of Romans, is very clear: God has endowed rulers full power to use whatever means necessary—including war—to stop evil,” Jeffress told the Washington Post. “In the case of North Korea, God has given Trump authority to take out Kim Jong Un.”

Tensions with the North Korean government have been escalating for years, but in recent weeks things appear to have crossed over into a new dimension. Long story short: North Korea keeps testing intercontinental ballistic missiles—which has a lot of people shook—especially now that they have miniaturized nukes and are looking to target Guam, a Pacific island that’s home to a sizable U.S. military base—which has a lot of people really shook.

Now Trump is escalating things by threatening “fire and fury” if North Korea threatens us anymore. His “fire and fury” comments yesterday just seemed a little… extra. The sort of words a religious fanatic might use.

Jeffress also told the Post, using the Book of Romans as a reference, that God “gives the government to the authority to do whatever, whether it’s assassination, capital punishment or evil punishment to quell the actions of evildoers like Kim Jong Un.”

Yes, this is the same Pastor Robert Jeffress who at one point in his likely disturbed life, said former president Barack Obama opened the door for “the Antichrist.”

The way the Trump regime has been using religion to justify their increasingly erratic actions is becoming more and more alarming. Since Trump’s inauguration, there has reportedly been a weekly prayer meeting inside of the White House with most of Trump’s top cabinet members. Just this week, in a profile piece of Trump’s new White House Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, it became public that before every press conference she reads a religious devotional.

In case of nuclear war, good luck everyone! And remember to bless up and thank God for all the destruction!
