Dave and AJ Tracey “Thiago Silva”

For those unfamiliar with Thiago Silva, he’s one of the most highly regarded defenders in soccer fútbol. The 31-year-old Brazilian currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain and has several trophies under his belt. He’s also the inspiration behind the latest collaboration between grime artists Dave and AJ Tracey. We imagine that the hook describes the comfort Thiago basks in, with his superstar status whenever he goes out: “Walk in the rave, smile on my face / Drink in my cup, hand in my jeans.” There’s one Silva reference along with a Kaká line, while the rest of the rhymes are filled with descriptions of the various ways that Dave and AJ Tracey can lift your chest cavity while rocking Nike sweatsuits.

The production comes courtesy of 169 and Prince Rapid, who switch up the bass almost as often as Dave and AJ switch up their flows.

No word on where “Thiago Silva” will end up.
