Christian Rapper Sentenced to 18 Years for Killing Producer Over Burning CDs

Back in September of 2015, Ryan Salandy aka Ry Money, got into an altercation with a producer named William McDaniel. Salandy had agreed to pay McDaniel $300 to burn 150 CDs of his music. Somehow, there was a point of contention that led Salandy to leave and then return, only to strike McDaniel with his car within the range of 37-49 MPH.

Salandy’s mother called the police and told them that her son was involved and where to find him–their home. Salandy did not ask about McDaniel’s condition until six hours after being arrested.

Salandy was convicted in September of this year for second-degree murder and will face 18 years in prison.
