Brain Dead Launches Record Label, Releases Commemorative Capsule

Los Angeles-based Brain Dead is entering the music business. Accordingly, the cult brand is dropping off some exclusive merch to celebrate the launch of Brain Dead Records. The label’s first release will feature a collaboration between the brand and Innovative Leisure’s Khun Narin. For the project, Brain Dead released a tee that comes with an Innovative Leisure/Gaslamp Killer mixtape, along with cassettes from artists Biscuits, Gaul Plus, and Pubesky. Each tape is limited to 100 copies.

The rest of the capsule features a range of graphic tees, hats, and pins celebrating the record label. Additionally, the brand will release the aforementioned cassettes that feature uniquely fictionalized movie posters. Seeing as the brand draws heavy inspiration from cult cinema, it’s only right they got creative with their tape packaging.

You can shop the whole Brain Dead Records Capsule collection beginning May 27 from the brand’s online shop.
