Action Bronson “Mr. 2 Face” ft. Jah Tiger and Meyhem Lauren

While many acknowledge the Bronx as the birthplace of hip hop, its roots stretch as far back as Jamaica. So it’s only right that both genres dip into each others’ talent pools time and again. As part of his massive ongoing promo campaign for his Internet turned TV show, Action Bronson released a new freestyle over a classic Reggae beat made popular by Super Cat’s 1993 single “Dolly My Baby“—the extended version with Puff Daddy, 3rd Eye (Jesse West), and a then-unknown Biggie Smalls became the most well-known take.

Joining the F*ck That’s Delicious stars, Action and Meyhem, Jamaican artist Jah Tiger adds a lengthy hook and verse to preserve the original Caribbean vibes. It also serves as a warm up for their next episode, where they take on Kingston. Paul Rosenberg also tweeted that the song will be on Blue Chips 7000, but we’ll wait for volumes 3-6,999 first to be sure.

Listen to “Mr. 2 Face” and watch the trailer for the next episode below.
