Professional Idiot Martin Shkreli Says He’ll Liberate Prized Wu-Tang Music if Trump is Elected

The pharmaceutical juggernaut has already toyed with major, paradigm-shifting issues as if they were sock colors, and now he’s looking to sway the vote at next month’s general elections. Shkreli, a known Trump supporter, has declared that he’s going to release music off Once Upon a Time in Shaolin–the one-of-one Wu-Tang album RZA sold to Shkreli in 2015–if Donald Trump wins the Presidency.

Shkreli made his announcement on Twitter, and it’s gotten viral attention. In addition to Wu-Tang, unreleased and unheard Nirvana and Beatles will also be unarchived, which would result in this potential data dump being ranked among the world’s most historic.

Shaolin was purchased in May of 2015 through an e-portal called Paddle 8, which described the buyer as a “private American collector.” Months later, in early December, a Bloomberg Business report revealed Shkreli as the buyer. Since then, no known music from the album has been released, and it appears Shkreli would much rather destroy it than have it be released on terms other than his.

For what it’s worth, the latest national polls have Hillary Clinton defeating Donald Trump by margins varying from 3 to 9 percentage points.
