According to multiple reputable websites, a planned music festival in Houston whose lineup includes Run the Jewels, Travis Scott, Clams Casino, and RZA, among many others, will also feature a hologram of fallen internet hero Harambe, the gorilla who was fatally shot at the Cincinnati Zoo earlier this year. On the website for the Day for Night Festival, there’s a special page for the primate that reads: “A hologram of our beloved Harambe.” One problem, it’s not true. Mass Appeal contacted the organizers and they responded by email: “It was a joke.” Still, dicks out for Harambe. RIP. UPDATE: here’s the page that the festival just deleted.
