PREPARE FOR ‘RAPTURE’
Mass Appeal’s new Netflix series premieres this weekend at SXSW
This weekend will bring the world premiere of our new series with Netflix, Rapture. The eight-part documentary series stares directly into the bright light that hip hop culture shines on the world and doesn’t blink. Featuring a diverse swath of artists—Nas and Dave East, T.I., Rapsody, Logic, G-Eazy, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, 2 Chainz and Just Blaze—Rapture dives into the artists’ lives with their families and friends, to sitting front row in the studio and grinding on tour, to experiencing the ecstatic power of moving the crowd.
All eight episodes will be available worldwide when they arrive on Netflix on March 30, but those at South by Southwest this weekend will get an early look at the series at our world premiere event, featuring a special screening of both the Nas and Dave East episode and the T.I. episode. The premiere is part of the SXSW Film Festival and will take place this Saturday, 3/17, at the Paramount Theater, 713 Congress Ave.
In the meantime, check the trailers for the Nas and Dave East episode, above, and the T.I. episode below.
