HSTRY Lesson with Iman Shumpert

HSTRY Lesson is an interview series where we learn the background of a prominent figure’s story: the journey and where it’s heading. It’s presented by HSTRY and Mass Appeal.

Iman Shumpert is quickly outgrowing the standard NBA profile fame in 2016. After winning the Championship with the Cavaliers, he’s been working in the booth as much as he has been on the court. He also helped turn heads in Kanye’s video for “Fade” which featured him and now wife, Teyana Taylor. So we caught up with Iman while in NYC to discuss having that one asshole in your life to give you the real, playing through an injury and learning from it this past season, and possibly getting on a track with the big man himself, Nas.
