Dave East Releases ‘Paranoia’ Tracklist, Unveils Nas & Chris Brown Features

Harlem’s own Dave East has revealed the tracklist to his 13-track major-label debut Paranoia, which includes heavyweights like Young Jeezy, French Montana and Chris Brown.

The 29-year-old spitter sat down with Billboard to talk about the project and how he chose his collaborators.

Paranoia is nine joints and with skits, I packaged it a little more, but everybody that I got on the tape made sense for the records that I got them on,” East said. “I wasn’t like, ‘Let me get him on because he’s hot right now.’ I really wanted the records to make sense.”

Nas signed Dave East signed with to Mass Appeal Records in 2014—the two wordsmiths have since traded verses a couple of times. Their next collaboration, “They Hated,” appears on Paranoia, which you can check out in full when it drops on Friday.
