Cuz Lightyear Turns His World Blue for “Luke C Walker” Video

Cuz Lightyear bops through the new video for “Luke C Walker” with an untouchable air—blue rag clutched tightly. “Crippin’, but I’ll still fuck a redbone,” Cuz sing-raps as he’s showered in hazy blue lighting and juxtaposed against aquarium visions. Direction for the video comes from Nassar Boulaich and Aditya Pamidi.

“Luke C Walker” is featured on his WHAT UP CUZ EP, released earlier this year through Mass Appeal Records. It follows Cuz’s video for “Pots and Pans,” his blistering collaboration with Killer Mike. Cuz and Mike sat down for an edition of the MASS APPEAL video series Studio A, which features Cuz breaking down his transformation from Grind Time Rap Gang standout SL Jones to the artist he’s currently known as. In part one of that interview, Killer Mike summed up Cuz’s ethos best, noting, “This Crip’n is really in your heart… I ain’t seen you in as much as a red Polo.”
