BC Graffiti: Richmond’s Hidden Walls, Train Yards, and Freights

With lenient weed laws and music festivals featuring top talent, many cities and towns in the province of British Columbia have made a name for themselves. There’s the mega pop star headlined Pemberton and Squamish Music Fests that take place along the infamous Sea-to-Sky Highway. The sun stroke and molly madness of FVDED IN The Park in Surrey. Even the small town of Nelson hosts Shambala, the world’s premier forest rave. And with a fully established Hollywood North, who doesn’t know Vancouver and Whistler?

However, to get to any of these places, Richmond is where you fly into. The fourth largest city in BC, it’s mostly comprised of sprawling cul-de-sac neighborhoods and a dense urban corridor, framed by the Pacific ocean and Fraser river. But on the fringes of this growing Canadian metropolis, lies the industrial zones and train tracks that are abundant with vibrant, high quality graffiti. Be it in the hidden yards in the South East, or the factories and mills along the river, there’s plenty to discover (and bomb).

Come take an exclusive tour and see what Richmond has to offer, graffiti-wise, from its freight trains to its walls.
